2010 COMMITMENT POLICY
FOR BOYS AND GIRLS LACROSSE TRAVEL PLAYERS
The Wilton Lacrosse Association Youth Lacrosse Commitment Policy for travel team players is to ensure that all travel players receive a positive experience playing youth lacrosse. This is achieved by making a commitment to make Travel Lacrosse your priority sport during the Spring Season and by establishing strict guidelines for participating on Travel lacrosse teams especially for boys and girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grades.
Commitment for “A” Level Travel TeamPlayers
ALL “A” team players must attend all travel games and practices.
All players who make the “A” teams must not miss a game or practice
because of participation in another sport; the penalty for doing so will
be losing his/her spot on the team and being moved to the “B” team.
Commitment Policy for All Other Travel Team Players
We expect that if you play on a travel team other than an “A” team that you will make every effort to attend all practices and games in their entirety. In fairness to those players who do attend all practice and games, players who miss practices or games may lose playing time. This decision will be at the discretion of their coaches.
ALL travel players MUST notify coaches ahead of time by email if they need to miss a practice or game for good reason.
